Who's leading the conversation?
This visualization below allows you to see the impact that each user has on the current conversation. The top row contains the group of users who have had the most impact, the 2nd row the group of users who have had the 2nd most impact (et cetera). Users with similar impact are grouped together, and the average score of the group is shown to the left of the group. The author of the article is also shown on the left, in their corresponding group. Each user's score is based on the number of comments the user has made plus the number of votes their comments have received. The scores are calculated relative one another, so while their absolute value is not particularly important, their relative difference does indicate a larger difference in impact on the conversation.

I live in Georgia and so am very familiar with "Levi's Call". I also live in the town where the incident occured concerning Jerry Jones. I can tell you for a fact that "Levi's Call" saved those little girls lives. This system should be used in every state and there should be something done to make sure that state's co-operate with each other any time the life of a child is in jeapordy. I read somewhere that humans are the only animals on this earth that willfully do harm to their young. We don't do nearly enough to protect our children. God gave us a precious gift and we don't appreciate it enough to go beyond our petty little "laws" to see that every child in this country gets the rights and protection he or she deserves. God help us.
